Through the portal and down the rabbit hole, join Alice on an adventure at two different locations this summer!
“The creativity and execution of Alice In Wander Land was off the charts wonderful.”
—Kesa K., Parent, Berkeley Resident
Alice needs your help, kids!
Follow Alice down the rabbit hole and through the woods to encounter the magical beings of Wander Land.
Your grownups will join you on a journey, and the story will unfold all around you as you go.
You will feel Wander Land come alive through live music, acrobatic performances, inventive puppetry, and stunning vistas.
Will the Queen of Hearts be as wonderful as Alice hopes? Or will Alice’s new friends have to help her learn important lessons about love and justice?
TWO LOCATIONS: This year we are able to expand access by performing a wheelchair and stroller friendly version of our show at Piedmont Park.
Piedmont Park, Piedmont June 7th and 8th
Codornices Park, Berkeley June 14th and 15th.
TIME: Shows are at 10:30am and 2pm
BUY TICKETS: For Piedmont Park, buy tickets here. For Codornices, buy tickets here.
(We are happy to be able to offer $5 tickets for EBT/CalFresh recipients. To begin a reservation for $5 tickets, please contact us here. )
CHECK IN: 30 minutes before showtime (Be sure not to miss the group before it heads off into the woods !)
Recommended for ages 4–8; adults will accompany their kids on the journey. Babies who will be carried by their grown up do not need a ticket; every other human, adult or child, will need their own ticket.
ACCESSIBILITY:
ASL interpretation: ASL interpretation will be coordinated by Urban Jazz Dance Company. Dates TBC.
We will have a quiet zone. If your family needs some low-stimulation quiet time at any point during the show, visit our Quiet Zone tent next to our Welcome Tent. Kids must be accompanied by a grown up.
Sensory guide and social narrative for Codornices Park are at this link and will give you information about the venue, themes and tone, and social interactions you might have at our show.
For those who would benefit from reading our script in addition to seeing our show, we have made it available at this link.
Our route at Piedmont Park is wheelchair and stroller friendly! Unfortunately our Codornices route is not. Here is some additional access information about Piedmont Park for wheelchair users:
Parking: There are 2 designated disabled parking spots next to the park and 5 additional accessible spaces nearby. Here is a map of ADA parking spots. Note: the nearby area is hilly.
Terrain & Pathways: While all performance scenes take place on flat surfaces, moving between them involves navigating slight upward and downward slopes. The route is paved, but some areas have uneven cement. The route should be manageable for most wheelchair users and an Usher will be available for assistance if needed.
Restrooms: An ADA-accessible restroom is available by the playground.
Assistance & Accommodations: If you have specific access needs, or other questions, please email us in advance at info@pineconesandportals.com, and we will do our best to assist you.
