What is Campfire Stories?
A cozy, neighborly way to spend a Friday evening, for kids ages 4-104! Come settle in by the fire in a sweet private garden with your littles — we’ll have music and a storyteller, and then time for socializing and s’mores!
March Campfire Stories
Let’s celebrate the transition back into spring!
March Campfire Stories features Juliana Frick telling one of her favorite stories — The Snow Queen. In this old tale we learn how Gerda’s devotion to her friend Kai (who has mysteriously gone missing) inspires her courage and ingenuity, and we feel how the warmth of their reunion thaws the ice of winter. Our event also features the musical whimsy of Kam!

ABOUT THE STORYTELLER
Juliana Frick is an award-winning physical theater artist, acrobat and former musician based in Berkeley, CA. She’s the founder and director of Pinecones and Portals Hiking Theater Company!
She grew up touring with acclaimed youth-troupe Circus Smirkus from ages nine to fifteen. Juliana received a BA in music and storytelling from Hampshire College in Western, MA, completed the professional training program at Dell’Arte International, and trained under James Donlon and Leonard Pitt at the Flying Actor Studio. Juliana is a founding core member of the dramatic acrobatic troupe UpLift Physical Theatre.
ABOUT THE MUSICIAN
Kam uplifts us and makes us giggle with their guitar and a little baby keyboard this March. Kam has lived in glamorous cities, rural farms, desolate desert, on a bicycle, deep in the folds of tropical paradise, the beach, creative artistic communities, dirty punk houses, and cardboard boxes. It’s a delight to listen to them by firelight!
