What is Campfire Stories?

A cozy, neighborly way to spend a Friday evening, for kids ages 4-104! Come settle in by the fire in a sweet private garden with your littles — we’ll have music and a storyteller, and then time for socializing and s’mores!

Kids and adults gather around a small fire in a lush garden. A woman speaks to the group. A musician wiht an accordian smiles.

Paz Hidalgo is a Chilean actress and multidisciplinary artist with a deep-rooted passion for the performing arts. Her creative journey has led her through the worlds of theater, dance, circus, and puppetry, disciplines she explores not only as artistic languages, but as ways of understanding and connecting with the world. A lifelong student and curious traveler, Paz views every place and person she encounters as a source of learning. Her path is marked by a critical reflection on society and on herself — questioning systems, ideas, and the role of art in shaping both individual and collective consciousness. She is a bridge between cultures, a storyteller who listens as much as she speaks, and a firm believer in the transformative power of live performance. Paz sees herself as a messenger, a wanderer. Now she is based in the East Bay sharing classes of theater and movement with kids. You can follow her on Instagram at @negrihormiga
